TOKYO, July 22 (KUNA) -- The longest total solar eclipse of the 21st century darkened many areas in Japan and China on Wednesday.On Japan's Amami Oshima Island, 1000 kilometers southeast of Tokyo, the sun became totally eclipsed shortly after 9:55 a.m. (0055 GMT) for three minutes and 32 seconds.
