Earth Hour can’t Save this Planet, help reduce warming: GBA
New Delhi, India: March 26, 2011 – IR Summary/GBA -It is a significant step for every one on the Earth to turn off the lights and observe Earth Hour, which is organized annually on the last Saturday of March by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF). Over 4000 cities from 131 countries have promised to turn off their lights during this global event which includes New Delhi and Mumbai, but GBA feels, though this gesture is highly noticeable, it is not enough, much more is required to be done to save the Earth and that too something practical, Earth Hour can’t provide any effective solution to the ever growing climatic changes.
