Tokyo, Japan: June 14, 2008 – IR Summary/ Agencies/AP/Kyodo News Agency - A strong 7.2-magnitude earthquake has rocked a rural area of northern Japan on Saturday, injuring over 1000 people and killed around three persons so far reported and around 100 are trapped at hot springs. The quake has set off landslides and reportedly knocking down a bridge. Electricity is cut off in 29,000 households in the quake zone.
