New Delhi - In a special meeting held here today, a two-minute silence was observed by the House to pay homage to those who laid their lives and those got injured on 7/7 London attacks.

Dr. Raj Baldev, President "National Integration Assembly"(NIA) said, "National Integration Assembly (NIA) is a peace loving organization which has been promoting regional and world peace since 1975.

"National Integration Assembly"(NIA) is against any sort of acts of terrorism which take lives of the innocent people, who have done no harm to any Terrorist Group."

"I earnestly ask all the terrorist groups kindly to tell me, what enmity the innocent people have got with them. If any of them has any grudge with the govt. or any of their policies, why to attack the innocents?

Dr. Raj Baldev blamed all countries of the world for their faulty policies to check terrorism. Instead of discouraging their activities, they are indirectly helping them to flourish and grow fast. How and Why?

He said, "There has been a tall claim by different countries for many years that they have enough of the information about terrorist activities and have taken proper precautions, whether it is India, Spain, UK, USA or any other country.

"The surveillance is only one aspect on which every country banks but it is not the complete solution and it is proved beyond doubt that terrorism has beaten the world politicians.

"No country has ever tried genuinely to understand the route cause of the terrorism. None is serious about them whether it is India, Spain, USA, UK, Russia or any other country in the world, even after their attacks on different parts of different countries with different generalships.

"The reality is that all countries have miserably failed to do anything concrete to stop their designs. Why?

"It is not enough to say that all countries should fight terrorism collectively, whether it is a meet of some big countries like G-8 or any other forum, there needs to be true efforts and right approach, which are totally missing.  If they do not know the background or route cause of the problem, how can they solve it?

"It is the story of every country.  I shall take an example of Free Muslims against Terrorism, who led the first rally of its kind in Washington, D.C. and requested the supporters to join them. 

"They announced on May 14, 2005 that their rally was against terrorism and in support of freedom and democracy in the Middle East and the Muslim world.

"They declared that their mission against terrorism was not only restricted to Muslims and Middle Easterners of all backgrounds alone but also to all others, who wish to join them to support their right cause.

"They appealed to join the world in sending a message to radical Muslims and supporters of terrorism saying," they reject them and that they will do all they can to defeat them."

They, in fact, wanted to send a message to all extremists and terrorists that American Muslims, Christians, Jews and people of all faiths are united against terrorism and extremism.

"They said, "We welcome all endorsers and we ask that you circulate and publish this message to as many groups and people as possible. Help us make history."

"This was a good attempt, a very good endeavor and a genuine trial. It sent a good signal to terrorists and extremists but that was not enough, it was only one aspect of a good initiative.

"The present need is to awaken the conscious of the so-called terrorists, and to make them to realize the human values in their hearts alike irrespective of their nationalities, laanguages, regions, colors, castes or creeds, which is ignored.

"Simply to condemn the terrorists shall not work, the innocent youth deployed by them should be properly educated and their human feelings should be aroused to develop sympathy for others, which is not done.

"For example: We know that AIDS is spreading, the number of HIV effected people are on the alarming rise. Simply to give them treatment of anti virus is not sufficient."They must be properly educated to take precautions to avoid disease.

Similarly, the young people who are trained by the terrorists to act as human bombs, and who are also prepared to destroy the innocent human lives should first be educated. It is a delicate matter and needs sensitive approach rather than only condemnation or resolution.

"Before any education is imparted to them, it is necessary to know the route cause of terrorism, which may vary from country to country, but fundamental cause is the same.

"No country is seriously prepared to listen to it, what it is and how it should be tackled, simply by resolving in a meeting, may be G8, cannot provide an effective solution," Dr. Raj Baldev said.

" Dr. Raj Baldev concluded:

"We are against all acts of terrorism and their negative policy of getting the accomplishment of their demands fulfilled at the cost of innocent human lives. It is not the right approach even by the terrorists.

"We want that terrorists should abandon their path of terrorism and adopt constructive approach and for that we have to change our attitude. We should try to change their hearts by educating them on the negative side of terrorism, how it punishes the innocent people and no religion teaches as such."
