New Delhi, India: June , 2008 : International Reporter Summary (IR Summary) – The Arushi-Hemraj Murder case puzzled both Noida police as well as CBI, both are seeking some excuse to keep Talwar under their custody, even though there is no concrete evidence against him. The public opinion is also against bungling of Noida Police who played with this case rather than solving it honestly.
The CBI whom the case was entrusted also played in the similar way, though they have put Dr. Rajesh Talwar on polygraphy test, they got nothing that could prove him guilty.
Arushi's father Dr Rajesh Talwar, who was put to the lie-detector early this week, revealed the following results as per CNN-IBN: Though Dr Talwar stammered to answer most of these questions, questions are now being raised about the validity of keeping Dr Talwar in custody without any evidence.
Here is an excerpt what Dr Talwar revealed:
CBI: What you were wearing on the night Arushi was murdered? Talwar: I don't remember
Polygraph: Heartbeat increases
CBI: Why were you wearing jeans and t-shirt in the morning, though normally you wear a night suit?
Talwar: No reply
Polygraph: Massive fluctuation in BP
CBI: Why did you drink alcohol after 11:30 at night, though you had had dinner?
Talwar: I was tired.
Polygraph: Having difficulty answering this question
CBI: Who saw Arushi's body first? You or Nupur?
Talwar: I saw the body first
CBI: But your wife said she saw the body first
Polygraph: Heartbeat increases again
CBI: Where did you buy the knife to murder Arushi and where did you throw it? Talwar: I don't know where the knife is.
Polygraph: Having a lot of difficulty answering this question
CBI: Why did you kill Hemraj? Who all were with you when you killed him? Talwar: I don't know. I did not kill Hemraj.
CBI: Do you know the CBI has got concrete evidence against you?
Talwar: I am destroyed
