Mumbai, India: April 12, 2008 - Saif Ali Khan’s father Mansoor Ali Khan wants that Kareena should keep his son contented, who is in great love with her and he expects Kareena similarly to love his son and to keep him happy.
Mansoor Ali Khan said that his son loves Kareena so much which can’t be expressed in words; It is the duty of Kareena to take the love seriously and would cooperate to keep the family in high spirit.
“My son’s very happy with Kareena and I’m happy for him. I want Kareena to keep my son happy always. A serious relationship is about commitment and marriage. Saif and Kareena must remember that everything won’t always be rosy.”
“There’ll be times when they’ll be mad at each other and then, loyalty, mutual trust and respect will be essential. Before taking the plunge, they must remember this and be very sure of their commitment to each other.”
The feelings expressed by Mansoor Ali confirm that the final stage of marriage is matured from both ends.

On Soha’s marriage, he says, “Soha is very close to me and I connect with her on a deeper level. She confides in me quite a bit but that doesn’t mean she tells me everything. I only believe in giving the best education to the kids and supporting them always, but I will never meddle in their lives when it comes to taking the most important decisions of their lives.”
His wife Sharmila, he says, is the most important person in his life. “I didn’t fall in love, I slowly walked into love. As the chairperson of the Censor Board, she recently suffered with unscrupulous elements asking for her resignation. I told her just one thing —finish the job that given to you. Don’t buckle under the pressure and don’t resign!”
And some views on cricket from one of India’s best captains ever: “Indian sport actually lacked vision. Hockey was our game, but look at the way it’s gone into oblivion because it wasn’t marketed properly. We’re lucky to have people like I S Bindra and Lalit Modi in the cricketing arena, who may not know the game too well, but they’re wizards at marketing it. If the hockey federation had people like these, things would be different.”
