Krazzy 4 settles deal out of court, no song cut

Mumbai, India: April 10, 2008 – IR Summary – The controversy over Krazzy 4 is over. The court permitted both the parties to settle their own if they so choose. Millions of fans who were waiting for the two special songs got relief.
The court had first imposed a fine of Rs. 2 crore on Roshans .Jingle composer Ram Sampath had leveled allegations of plagiarism against the filmmakers, accusing them of using their tunes, which were composed by him, and no permission was sought for from him.
The Court on Thursday morning passed an Interim Order, directing the producers to release the film without the controversial tracks. The court directed to censor two songs before release of the film. It meant that only day was given for cutting the songs.
The defence counsel explained to the Hon.’ble court that the reels of the film have already reached all over India and abroad and as such it shall not be possible to comply the order of the court.
The court permitted to settle the controversy themselves and the order was mended accordingly. The people appreciated the high sense of the Hon.'ble Court.
