Mumbai, India: April 8, 2008 –IR Smmary - As per statement recorded in the court, Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt and his friend Manyata denied that they were  legally married and that gave a dramatic curl to the case, which had caused a great worry for millions of fans of Sanjay Dutt and his friend Manyata. 

Challenging the allegations of bigamy leveled by Manyata's first husband Meraj Rehman, an under trial, the couple has claimed there was no material to show the validity of their marriage in the eyes of law, as per PTI input.

In an application filed before the Sessions Court on Monday, challenging the order of issuance of process against the two, Dutt and Manyata have stated that their reported marriage in Goa is a nullity.

Millions of fans of Sanjay Dutt got a relief to see their idol to get out of the legal riddle.
