New Delhi, India: April 1, 2008 – Dr. Raj Baldev-IR Summary - Congress  seems to have targeted  L.K.Advani and Maya Wati to win next elections, directly or indirectly, by fair or foul means is a common question being discussed in public?

The next election shall be very crucial, Congress wants to win the election at all costs; it has two targets – one is L.K.Advani and his lieutenants like Narendra Modi,Uma Bharti, Murli Manohar Joshi, Praveen Togadia.

The second is Maya Wati and Co. If BJP and Bahujan Samaj Party are weakened by any means, democratic or other ways, the Congress is sure to sweep the upcoming elections and that’s an issue of life and death for the Congress party.

This policy as publicly being discussed if presumed to be reliable; it may create a dangerous sign for the country as a whole. 

To defeat any candidate democratically is okay but not otherwise; if the foul play is allowed or adopted by any party in power or otherwise, it shall most certainly weaken the country to an ultimate extent of being dictated by foreign powers, and some of them are eagerly awaiting.

If we believe in the rumors leaked out from the Intelligence Agencies in India and Abroad, the fate of L.K.Advani does not seem to be favorable and so of his lieutenants.

Similarly Maya Wati and Co. are assumed to be equally targeted by Congress not only by democratic ways but also feared to be aimed through some other scheduling. What’s that plan; nothing can be said with certainty?

There are, of course, rumors in the Intelligence Camp that the Govt. is encouraged by the Students Islamic Movement of India (SIMI), some of whom are recently arrested, some are nabbed therafter and some more are still likely to come in the clutches of the Govt.

Here the conspiracy is smelt out? A section of Congress leaders do not mind if L.K. Advani is wiped out either by unfair election or by through SIMI’s or anyone else, that’s why as per intelligence report, the Congress Govt. does not seem to be so serious to suppress the movement of SIMI in their own interest. 

If L.K. Advani and his top Lieutenants are believed to be on the hit list of SIMI, the Congress stands to win and a section of leadership in Congress does not seem to be so serious to eliminate the danger to the life of L.K. Advani and others except to enhance the security as an eye wash; how far it is correct, needs to be probed?

Maya Wati is not exception to it; the Intelligence is reported to be interrogating the SIMI students whether Maya Wati is also included in their hit list?

Yes or No, no body knows, but a section of Congress leaders do wish that she should also have been in the SIMI’s hit list like Advani.

To defeat these two targets, Rahul Gandhi is determined to defeat Maya Wati and win the ground for Congress in Uttar Pradesh. He has launched a Hisaab Maango campaign against the Mayawati government, asking for an account of work done by the state government.

While Rahul Gandhi has given a new slogan to his party i.e. ‘Congress hand is common Man’, Sonia Gandhi has said that she is ready to allow her son Rahul Gandhi to go to jail with rest of his party workers in UP to accomplish jail bharo campaign.

To create a new stir of life among the people, Sonia Gandhi specifically said, ''I think nothing can happen in Uttar Pradesh until our workers are ready to go to jail. Are all of you ready to go to jail? If need be, Rahul will go with you when you go to jail.'' 

Perhaps Sonia Gandhi wants to make best use of ‘Gandhi’ word after his son’s name, perhaps to install him as future Prime Minister of India.

Sonia has given a clear indication that she is very serious about the coming elections and she means results. She has evidently defined that she is not only against Maya Wati but also against the Bahujan Samaj Party to whom she labels to be a corrupt party in UP.

Under the new plan of Rahul Gandhi, the party shall ask for the account of work from the state government during the Hisaab Maango campaign and without waiting for the results, they shall offer court arrest or jail bharo campaign.

Rahul Gandhi has made up a plan to accompany the workers to Jail.  If Rahul Gandhi succeeds in his plan and goes to jail, he is likely to create better election results in UP irrespective of any magic spell by Maya Wati.

There are many other plans in process to defeat Maya Wati & Co.on one side and L.K. Advani & Co. on the other, directly or indirectly, I wish everything should remain within democratic framework rather than playing disloyalty to our own country by considering to adopt dishonorable means.

Now the game is in the hands of Maya Wati and Advani, how they re-act and safeguard their life to serve their countrymen?
