Mumbai, India: December 30, 2007 - (IR Summary) - The popularity of Rakhi Sawant and her superb performance as a dancer is always on the increase and not declining. She is liked more even than Bipasha Basu.
 
Sanjeeda and Aamir won the contest in Nach Baliye 3 not due to their superior performance but due to public support that they enjoyed for any reason best known to the public alone.

If Rakhi thinks that she has lost, she is not correct.  She would have taken the decision of the masses gracefully rather than criticizing the channel and challenging the matter for any foul play.

The stature of Rakhi did not justify weeping like a child and it was also against the ethics to report the matter to the police accusing the channel.

I don’t say that a channel is always right, but it could be right also. Their decision is based on public voting.  If the public voting is pouring much more votes in favor of Sanjeeda and Aamir with a great difference, there could be anticipation of certain results, and those should not have disappointed Rakhi.

To arrive at the last two in such a great progran was not an easy joke for even Sanjeeda and Aamir. They deserved appreciation as new comers in comparison, whereas Rakhi is a seasoned artist.  Some times the results are shocking or surprising, sometimes guru loses to his disciple doesn’t mean that Guru is inferior. This should have been taken light and in a sportsman spirit.

The stature of Raki is very high in dance than Sanjeeda and Aamir.  Rakhi, in fact, is one of the most talented and popular figures in dance and as an item girl, no body can easily compete her. She has a special place in Bollywood and in the hearts of not only the Indians but also all over the world.

Rakhi is so admired in Bollywood that even Bipasha Basu has agreed to perform a show with Rakhi at five star hotels in Mumbai on 31st, 2007 at JW Marriott, Juhu.

Rakhi was considered a bold girl, but her defeat looks to have made her weak.  She should maintain the level of her old courage and shouln’t feel disturbed on petty things, Rakhi, you are above all.

However, JW Marriott is allegedly going through a crisis as the tickets for Bipasha’s big night at the Lotus Café in JW, are yet to be sold out!

The hotel was also in for a painful surprise when they found out that the tickets for ‘item girl’ Rakhi Sawant’s performance at Tulip Star have almost sold out and that the demand for those tickets are much more even when they are more expensive!

Our source revealed, “JW has charged about Rs 12,000 per ticket for Bipasha while Tulip Star has charged Rs 16,000 per ticket for Rakhi’s show and people are happily preferring Rakhi over a Bipasha!”

Bipasha has apparently charged a whopping Rs 90 Lakh for her show while Rakhi has charged close to 55 Lakh.

We spoke to Rakhi and the drama queen sounded rather humble on being compared to Bipasha.

“I am aware of the fact that people are looking forward to seeing my show on the 31st. We are getting a huge response and that is what has made me strong. I don’t know the price of the tickets for my show but know that they have been sold out (touch wood). If at all my show is finding more takers than Bipasha’s, what can I say? It’s a great compliment. It shows that the public loves me immensely.”

We probed Rakhi about her fees and she said, “I don’t know from where people get such news? If I’d have charged this kind of amount, by this time I could have been a proud owner of Land Cruiser! I have not charged 55 Lacs.”

Will Rakhi trigger yet another controversy this time around with her scanty outfits? “Public will see me as the Rakhi they saw in Nach Baliye at my show. I won’t be scantily clad. After all the public has supported me so much, especially post my Nach Baliye ouster that I cannot afford to lose their affection and love for me. My performance is for about 40 minutes, where I’ll be performing a mujra and will dance on my hip-hop album songs as well as famous Bollywood numbers like Bidi Jalaile... My boyfriend Abhishek, DJ Whosane, and DJ Sheizwood will also be performing with me.”

We tried to get in touch with Bipasha but she was unavailable to comment on the issue.
