Bangalore: November 3, 2007 – On one side the BJP and JD (S) were collectively trying to persuade Karnataka Governor to invite them for forming a new Government, on the other hand, Janta Dal Secular, JDS National President HD Gowda has slammed a  a new 12-point pre-nupitial agreement to be negotiated before seeking formation of a new Government in Karnataka.

This stand posed by HD Gowda is a clear cut favor to Congress, who wants that the new government should not be formed in Karnataka.

If we go by the sequence of the whole story, it is difficult to trust JD(S) or HD Gowda. They have shown immaturity on all fronts.

Mr. HD Gowda now wants a fresh negotition on a 12-point agreement bfore forging a renewed alliance.

Dr. Raj Baldev, Chairman, National Integration Assembly (NIA), who had made some efforts to get their matter patched up between both the party lobbies, said, “Mr. HD Gowda has shown no maturity on any front and this shall not only weaken JD (S) but shall also strengthen the Congress party on the other hand, who do not want their successful alliance.

BJP has no choice but to accede to the terms of HD Gowda and they have started negotiations with the JDS.
