Karunanidhi further expressed his hearty wishes to Rahul to get still a better position that he deserves and he should work more to attain that in the larger interest of the country.
The DMK leader also congratulated Congress president Sonia Gandhi on her `timely decisions' for the growth of the party. He said in his letter to Sonia Gandhi that the changes affected in the Congress party and entrustment of higher responsibilities to the younger generation was really a welcome move.
"You have chosen the appropriate talents for the party's posts. I am quite sure that the incumbents chosen will prove their mettle in enhancing the image of the party.
One Mr.Vijay V comments that India is a democracy but the political party seems to have the family property of the Gandhi’s and Karunidhi’s and Thakera’s…. and these political parties speak about democracy and talk about high level development to the nation instead that they build their fortune on the public money.
Another comment speaks: Will DMK chief follow the Simlar way in Tamil Nadu? Why should not he allow youngsters to come to his place ???? ?
However, most of the people from younger age group really welcomed this new move and greeted Rahul on taking the new charge and his upgradation.
