Jodhpur: August 29, 2007 – A surprise development took place in case of Bollywood Star Salman Khan, when he applied for bail. His bail is now a bit delayed. His bail in connection with Jodhpur Chinkara case was refused by Mr. Justice G.K.Vyas, the Rajasthan High Court Judge, on Wednesday afternoon when the case came up for hearing before him.

The Hon.’ble Justice recommended that the case would be heard by another bench. He said he could not hear his matter since he was once his lawyer in another case.  

Justice Vyas had got Khan's revision petition listed hearing on Wednesday after the star was sentenced to five years in prison following his conviction in the chinkara poaching case.

Khan was arrested in Jodhpur jail on Saturday. The actor had spent three nights in the same barrack in April last year before he got bail.
 
Salman's counsel then approached the Bench of Justice H R Pawar, who will hear the case at 2 pm.
