London - Tony Blair is likely to reach Washington today to meet President George Bush so as to make a new effort to rejuvenate the Middle East peace process after the death of Yasser Arafat, since it is expected to flare up.
Blair paid high tribute to the Palestinian leader on GMTV describing him as a "huge symbol for the Palestinian people".
"I think the most important thing is to make sure we reinvigorate the peace process because there is misery for Palestinians; there is misery for Israelis who suffer terrorist activity," he said.
Blair has taken this opportunity of establishing peace in the Middle East as well as Israel.
