Dera Chief repeats regret, appeals the govt to do its right duty MIL/Agencies, May 21, 2007. Author: Sirsa, May 21, 2007 - : Dera Sacha Sauda (DSS) repeated its regret on Monday and appealed that the Sikhs should understand their intentions and desist from turning it into an unnecessary and unwanted battle between the Sikh community. They emphasized that they hold the highest regard for all religions and all gurus from all religions, hence there is no question of insulting anyone, nor they have any basic differences. Dera spokesperson Aditya Insaan said, “It is sad that our feelings on the matter are not being understood and people are resorting to sheer word play.” When asked about the demand for vacating the Deras, Aditya said: “The Deras belong to all humanity and not to any individual and as far as the demand of vacating them is concerned you ask the government.” | |
