3 Terrorists arrested, Delhi put on alert MIL/Agencies, Apr 27, 2007. Author: New Delhi, April 27, 2007 - The police here claim to have foiled a major terror plot after the arrest of three suspected terrorists at Dilli Haat, a popular cultural complex in south Delhi on Thursday evening. It is further claimed that the suspects are members of the Lashkar-e-Toiba and one of them - Abu Kasim - is a Pakistani national. The other two - Shafaqat and Kabir - are residents of Doda, Kashmir and all the three are between the ages of 23-24 years. Says Joint Commissioner Special Cell, Karnal Singh, “We got information about the module from intelligence. We had this information for the last one month. One ACP and his team worked on this information for a month." Karnal explained that the team took position in Dilli Haat after they came to know that the suspected terrorists were to meet there on Thursday. "The special cell is interrogating them. They have been taken for interrogation. We have limited information about the module in Delhi.
