Sea level rise due to Global Warming can be reduced: Dr. Raj Baldev

California, February 2, 2007 – As per UN report, the global warming is likely to be caused by the humans and the sea levels may increase from 7 to 23 inches by the end of Century.
I contacted Dr. Raj Baldev, Cosmo Theorist from India, and asked for his opinion on the UN report.
Dr. Raj Baldev said, “So far the humans are concerned, they are fully responsible for developing global warming. The politicians of different countries do not wish to go against the heavy industrialists and let them free to do every sort of industrial violation.
“As a result, the global temperatures may rise and shall definitely rise between 1.1 to 6.4 degrees Celsius by the end of this Century relative to the last, with 2 to 4.5 degree range approximately if carbon dioxide doubles from pre-industrial levels. I would endorse the views of the UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change for their practical approach.
Dr. Raj Baldev: “The Sea-level gain over the same period may range from 18 to 59 centimeters (7 to 23 inches) as per UN report. What would you like to say Dr. Baldev?
Dr. Raj Baldev said, “According to their report the global atmospheric concentration of carbon dioxide (CO2) stood at 379 parts per million in 2005, up from about 280 ppm in 1750, before the industrial revolution, the report said.
“It is because of Concentrations of CO2, and methane, another greenhouse gas, exceed ``by far'' the highest in an Antarctic ice-core record stretching back 650,000 years. Those increases are primarily attributable to fossil fuel use and land-use change, Susan Solomon, who chaired talks this week, said at a Paris news conference.
“This is a statement by the largest scientific panel ever put together on a major scientific issue that we now have the smoking gun on global warming,'' said Philip Clapp, president of the U.S. National Environmental Trust in a Jan. 31 phone interview after seeing portions of the draft, Dr. Raj Baldev quoted.
May I ask you Dr. Raj Baldev about your plans to suggest some measures to control the sea rise?
Dr. Raj Baldev said, “I am confident that I may be able to help controlling the sea rise to a great extent with certain measures but who will listen to me? Since Indians are not respected to that level of expertise, and on the contrary the world thinks that only scientists and experts from the advanced countries are always capable of saving the world, it is futile to give any suggestions.”
Dr. Raj Baldev, how you can control the humans?
Dr. Raj Baldev said, “It is impossible to control the humans and their activities against the interest of the Earth and their own life, but the suggestions which I have in mind may help to check the sea rise to a great extent and can avert the damages to a great number of human lives.”
“But my suggestions may once or twice help reduce the sea level and not every time, Dr. Raj Baldev said. “It is the human being at last who is actually to save the Earth from the global warming and help reduce the danger of the sea rising.”
