Prince Charles and Camilla arrive India, Punjab to welcome next

Punjab is gearing up for Prince Charles and his wife Camilla Parker visits to the state. Hectic preparations are on in Yadvindra Public School in Patiala to welcome them. Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh is personally supervising their arrangements so that there should not be any discrepancy in their welcome. . The Chief Minister said it was Prince Charles' interest in organic farming that made him to consider his visit to Punjab and so it is important from organic farming point of view.
"After seeing the world and after seeing India, he has decided to come to Punjab. He personally chose to come to Punjab," said Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh.
Farmers in the region are very happy to hear about Prince Charles' visit and say this might also increase Punjab Government's interest in organic farming.
"We have a lot of expectations from Prince Charles' visit, and we will definitely do more organic farming," said a farmer.
The couple's itinerary includes their visits to an agricultural park growing crops organically and also to one of the biggest gurudwaras in Punjab in Anandpur Sahib.
In between these engagements, the Punjab Chief Minister who also belongs to the royal family of Patiala will be throwing a private dinner for the royal couple.
