Anit-Bush demonstration organized by vested interests?

MIL/Agencies, Mar 4, 2006

New Delhi: Tens of thousands of Muslim and general labor from Delhi and surrounding joined a noisy demonstration here on Wednesday to protest Bush's visit to India. Some of the people who were among the demonstrators told that their services were hired when asked their purpose of demonstration against President Bush.

There were rumors that the demonstrators were arranged by vested interests and if these were taken as correct would mean that they would have spent crores of rupees by hiring the services of volunteers and labor.

It is well known to the authorities that the demonstrators are hired on such occasions.  So these demonstrations have little values in the eyes of the Government and therefore ignored and the authorities go on doing their job without paying any heed to the demonstration.

In Delhi, Effigies of Bush went up in flames at the Ramlila ground in the heart of the city, a venue that will see another anti-Bush rally Thursday.

Speakers at the rally riled against Bush and waved placards calling upon the Indian government to cancel his visit, the first by a US president in six years.

He said that the 100,000 people who took part in the protest hailed from New Delhi, Haryana and western Utter Pradesh. He accused Bush of killing "millions of people, including women and child, in Iraq and Afghanistan".

Similar Anti-Bush processions were taken out in lucknow, Hyderabad and other cities.

In Islamabad Police fired tear gas and rubber bullets on Friday to break up a crowd of hundreds of stone-throwing demonstrators, protesting against President Bush's visit.

The police had to fire tear gas shells and used batons to disperse the demonstrators when they trued to march towards the American consulate.

The angry demonstrators broke police cordons at different places and moved towards the American consulate. They burnt American flag and effigy of President Bush. They were chanting slogans against President Bush. The demonstrators were holding banners Bush arrival not acceptable.

The Govt. of Pakistan has also ignored the demonstration against President Bush and went on performing their official engagements.
