The series of Sri Lanka vs India looks to be ended here. Conditions are deplorable, possibly no match, even other pitch is a failure. The match referee along with some of the DDCA officials are out there into the centre, but there looks to be no possibility in starting the match again. If this match is totally abandoned, there shall be a heavy loss of reputation as well as money, even the amount of  tickets are to be refunded and the ads on  TVs are also to be compensated or refunded, the greatest loss to India is about its reputation, how the pitch is made with other undesirable conditions for playing a match.

The match is abandoned due to unfit playing conditions. Right then looks like we dont have a presentation going on, so that's it from all of us. This is Srivathsa on behalf of Mayank signing off. Oh well, thats a shame! It was a terrible pitch to say the least. Dilshan and Jayasuriya copped nasty blows. A wide delivery from Tyagi hit a crack and flew over the keeper's head and that was the last straw. Sangakkara was out there immediately and after 70 minutes of deliberations it was finally decided that the match be abandoned. Thankfully, the series was decided by the 4th ODI itself. India have won the series 3-1. Hang on for the presentation,More
