Rahul Gandhi leaps forward towards mature leadership

As expected, Rahul Gandhi's activities suggest that he is getting matured and has stepped forward as an active leader by leading hundreds of Congress workers, members and other enthusiastic young people today and enjoined them in the historic Salt March, which was led by Mahatma Gandhi 75 years ago.
One opinion says that this march is an attempt by the Congress to draw political mileage out of Mahatma's legacy, whereas the other opinion says that this is the right time for Rahul to step in to become a mature leader.
There is absolutely no doubt that the people are impressed by Rahul and his new subject has drawn an independent attention to relive. "It is a very exciting march. We are not only remembering the past but also reliving it," said Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dixit.
Some opposite leaders said in anonymity that Rahul's speech is not effective. They are wrong, Rahul has recently entered politics and may take about three years to become a proper mature politician.
We have no doubt that Rahul is honest, frank and believes in selected words and short speech than spreading artificial dialogue to fool the public. His simplicity is the greatest attraction as a strong sign of a mature leader.
"We have got great support. People in villages have been very enthusiastic and have been encouraging us and that has strengthened our will to finish the march," said Tushar Gandhi, Mahatma Gandhi'sgrandson.
While many Gandhians have stayed away from the march, calling it a political stunt, the Congress is rightly pressing ahead. It would have been more appropriate had Mrs. Sonia Gandhi had given Rahul an opportunity to lead the Salt March earlier..
However, this march shall undoubtedly put a new life in the party and among the workers to cultivate enthusiasm among them, a good start, Rahul, well done, continue.
