New Delhi, India: July 23, 2009 – IR Summary/Press Release - A new religious-cum-social group has taken birth here today on Thursday by the name and style of “God Believers” founded by Swamy (Dr.) Raj Baldev from India.

Swamy Raj explained to a big gathering here today that “God Believers” is a divine cum social service, founded with a sole purpose of defending God by supporting the main doctrines of God preached by all world religions in the spirit of global peace and brotherhood and it shall also function as an anti terrorist shield.

2.  Swamy Raj furthr said:

“ God Believers”  shall have its branches globally. This Religious Wing upholds the doctrines of all the world religions, who principally believe in One Supreme Creating Power, who invisibly rules and controls over the whole Universe. This Group also recognizes the existence of Demi Gods, Spirits, Super natural powers, Prophets and Incarnations, divine and physical importance of Nature which holds the key of nourishing all types of life.

3. “God Believers "place faith in God, and by this virtue, they are generally kind, noble, social, peaceful and justifiable humans and believe that humans are rewarded or punished by God for their good or bad deeds, and pardon those who heartedly repent for their foul activities.   

.4.    “This sect holds  respect all such people who believe in God irrespective of any forms, regions, communities, countries, languages, sects, castes or creeds.

5. “This society principally supports the doctrines of the following religions/faith, the number of which can increase or decrease depending on the response and requests. In the first instance, God Believers have on their agenda to support, promote and serve all world religions who believe in God including the following18 religions within their original forms and beliefs, with their roughly estimated adherents:

 i)     Christianity:  Over 2 billion  
ii)      Islam: Around 1.5 billion
iii)     Hinduism:  Around 900 million
iv)     Chinese traditional religion: Over 390 million
v)      Buddhism:  Around 375 million
vi)     African Traditional & Diasporic: Around 100  million
vii)    Sikhism:  Over 2 million
viii)   Spiritism: Around 15 million
ix)     Judaism: Around 14 million
x)      Baha'i:  Around 7 million
xi)     Jainism:Over 4 million
xii)    Shinto:  Around 4 million
xiii)   Cao Dai: Around 4 million
xiv)   Zoroastrianism: Over 2.5 million
xv)    Tenrikyo: Around 2 million
xvi)   Unitarian-Universalism: Around 800 thousand
xvii)   Rastafarianism: Over 500 thousand

 6. “When asked about the Base of God Believers, Swamy (Dr.) Raj Baldev said,”

 (a) Most world religions are registering decline in actual numbers of their followers, particularly their new generations are not seriously participating in their religious line up due to their modern lifestyle and scientific thinking as taught in the modern educational institutes. So, God Believers apprehend that the new generations in almost all countries of the world, have started  developing severe technical thinking about God and their respective religions and this trend has become a big question mark in their mind whether to believe in God?.

 (b) God Believers seriously feel that Time has come when all world religions should integrate together on main point of promoting faith in God in their respective religions by increasing the genuine strength of their followers and that’s only possible by educating new generation in the most proper and logical way about the higher principles of their religions and their faith in God, rather than banking on old interpretations, which are difficult to follow by the present generation. Hence to create proper interest among the new generations, both old and new changes in thinking about the higher values of their religions should be made easy to enable them to understand properly and logically so that they may not be swayed away by Non Believers of God and non religious elements. 

 (c)  God Believers are sure within their mind that each World Religion has got the best category of doctrine of God enshrined in their holy books and scriptures and other literature. Hence, it is the right time for leaders of all World Religions to take this change seriously. It is the correct time now to change the  mind of the new generation by educating them with the best teaching of their religion, so as to strike a good balance between religion and science vs God.

  (d) God Believers further strongly feel that at this juncture if the young generation is not properly educated or apprised of the high values and qualities of their respective religions, in the most proper manners in the modern scientific way, the growth of all such religions is likely to be severely affected and their growth may continuously go slower and slower to such a low level that it may eventually touch a regrettable situation. Don’t let this happen to encourage atheists and undeveloped scientists, who are after making the name of God a word of history rather than a faith and that they wish to achieve within a century or two. 

(e) God Believers, if desired, may suggest certain updates of their central teachings with background to the young generations within their respective religions and beliefs subject to the cooperation of the religious leaders of the World Religions along with their highly educated scholars, to help the divine and noble cause.  All World Religions should jointly create proper interest in the new generations to make them understand the scientific philosophy of God and their own religion so that they may be prevented from being misled by atheists and modern immature scientists.

(f) It is the faith in God that helps a person to become a thorough gentleman, justifiable, sympathetic, forgiving, truthful and social individual to help others and this is the secret of becoming a God Believer. Only a God Believer in any form or faith can exhibit noble qualities in him or her, which are essential for the world to pull on well in many spheres, anywhere in the globe.  

(g) In brief, the group of God Believers is dedicated to promote the proper faith of the young generation in God and is devoted to bring out the best of all religions of the world with positive approach.

(h). God Believers can do any social or divine service as considered anywhere in the world to help any deserving organization/religion or it can run its own body, institutes, hospitals or exhibitions, publication & video houses, TV Channels or any other program that may benefit the public at large within its perimeter of aims and objects. 

i) In order to promote the cause, the group of God Believers can erect temples or religious clubs or any other activities that may help fulfill the objects of this group and can also consider to confer honors on the deserving personalities as decided by the committee/public opinion/voting.
