New Delhi - Dr. Raj Baldev, Cosmo Theorist and the members of his team "SAROUL" (Scientific Advance Research of Universe and Life) enquired of the health of President Kalam, who is fine now. His operation is successful. Meanwhile, they demanded an inquiry how the President slipped and got his shoulder fractured?
President A P J Abdul Kalam, who had suffered a shoulder bone fracture on Sunday, underwent a non-invasive corrective procedure on Monday and his condition is absolutely fine.
Maj Gen L P Sadhotra, Commandant of the Army Hospital, Research and Referral, said "Today morning President Kalam underwent short general anaesthesia, closed reduction of the fracture was done and his condition is absolutely fine."
A closed reduction of a fracture is a procedure in which the doctor sets a broken bone without making an incision in the skin.
The President had slipped during his morning walk on the Rashtrapati Bhavan premises and sustained a fracture of the neck of humerus (shoulder bone). He was admitted to the army hospital later in the day. It was decided to conduct a surgery on him.
But on Monday morning top doctors decided instead to treat the fracture without an invasive procedure. "This procedure is sufficient now," Sadhotra said.
The doctors will again examine Kalam again to decide on when he can be discharged and how much rest he needs, the Commandant said.
Rashtrapati Bhavan spokesperson S M Khan said the President spoke to his elder brother in Rameshwaram in Tamil Nadu on Sunday evening.
