New Delhi, India: June 14, 2008 –IR Summary – According to various TV reports, the CBI is likely to conduct a fresh raid at Dr. Rajesh Talwar's house, where his daughter Aarushi and domestic help Hemraj were found murdered a month back.
The CBI team is searching for the murder weapon which they have not been able to get hold of and that has made their case legally weak and may not stand in the court of law.. When they go to the court and present Krishna, who has been arrested for murder of Aarushi and Hemraj, they are to face the music from the opposite counsels, since even the tests carried on Krishna are constitutionally not permitted, against the fundamental rights of a citizen.
The CBI team is likely to raid the residence of Dr. Talwar today with the last hope of getting the murder weapon. Even a forensic team of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has also reached Talwar's house to look for the vital clue of the murder weapon.
On Friday night, the CBI team raided Dr Anita Durrani's residence, who is known to be a close friend of Talwar family but nothing concrete is found.
Earlier on Friday, Krishna, the compounder of Dr Talwar, was arrested by CBI on the basis of findings of "scientific tests" but that is conclusive evidence unless supported by the murder weapon.
