Indo-US N.Deal to get through despite Left’s Opposition
MIL/IR Ed., Mar 27, 2008. Ch. Ed. IR

New Delhi, India: March 27, 2008 : IR Ed.  Left Party, the main ally of UPA Govt. think that they have practically crippled Manmohan Govt. so far Indo-US Nuclear deal is concerned. But it is not correct. The UPA Govt. themselves are delaying the process keeping the Left in good humors.

This issue is very important not only from India but also from American point of view. It’s war between America and the Communist Block, and if India honors its commitment on Indo-US Nuclear deal, America wins, India wins and India’s image enhances and India’s future economy boosts and the prospects of UPA to come in better position after next elections brighten.

Indian Foreign Minister has two faces, one is external and the other is internal. Earlier he was not scared to speak the truth and said that the deal would go through, then all of a sudden, he took a U turn and said that till a political consensus is achieved, it is not possible to honor the agreement.

''If we are able to evolve a consensus then it will be possible to hasten the process (of taking the deal forward),'' visiting External Affairs Minister Mukherjee said.

However, President Bush has given some more time to India to conclude the agreement.

Meanwhile Rahul Gandhi has made the issue clear that the Govt. is adamant to honor their commitment and shall get the deal through what come may, whether Left party likes it or not. This is the final strategy of UPA Govt. Rahul’s word is final.

They want time for the deal, because Sonia Gandhi wants some more time for the people totally to accept Rahul Gandhi as PM candidate and the issue has already been initiated from UP youth and is appreciated all over. The people have no hesitation in accepting Rahul as their PM  candidate because of his extraordinary qualities that he has exhibited and proved. and the masses have started showering their love and affection.

Rahul Gandhi has clearly said in an interview with students of TMA Pal Institute in Mangalore, Mysore, organized by the National Student Union of India that so far his views on Indo-US Nuclear Deal are concerned, they are positive and the deal should get through,

He said: “ My thinking is that in India, we need not be scared or lack confidence in dealing with anything or anybody.

Mr. Pranab Mukherjee has also hinted President Bush at the White House, where he remained with him for 35 minutes and Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice on Wednesday  that the govt. would honor its commitment at all costs, irrespective of the differences and hurdles being laid by the Left Party alliance of the UPA government just wait a little.

It is also believed that Mukherjee has further indicated during his meeting held in confidence that it is necessary to build Rahul’s image among the masses and he is getting very strong. It’s just a matter of little time more for the deal to be honored. The US Administration is satisfied and is hopeful that the deal shall go through despite negative shouting of the Left.
