Why Hrithik never offered lifts to Ash in his helicopter?

January 3, 2008 - They shared a passionate lip lock in their first film opposite each other Dhoom 2 which eventually went on to become one of the biggest hits in 2006 but if the recent spate of events are to be believed, things seem to have soured between Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai. So much so that Hrithik did not ever thought of offering his co-star and next door neighbor in Juhu, Aishwarya, a lift in his chopper in which he used to travel from Mumbai to Karjat to avoid the bustling city traffic.
On the sets of Ashutosh Gowariker’s epic Jodhaa Akbar , both A-list actors who play the characters of Emperor Akbar and Princess Jodhaa acted pretty aloof and distant with each other. Although the duo did not let their off-screen behaviour affect their onscreen chemistry, it was pretty obvious that Ash and Hrithik were not comfortable and kept their interactions to a bare minimum.
After the Badshah of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan and former lover Salman made it apparent for reasons obvious that they did not want to work in a film with the former Miss World, it was only Duggu aka Hrithik who opted for this period film to star opposite Aishwarya. He found no objection to be cast opposite her and was ready to begin a ‘friendship’ that had initially begun on the sets of Dhoom 2 . But the cordial relationship began to face its ups and downs and by the end of the shooting of Jodhaa Akbar things had gone on from bad to worse.
Apparently it was an incident that took place during one of the shoots under the able supervision of director Gowariker that initiated the entire ruckus and created a rift between the two. Ashutosh had to film a scene where only Hrithik was needed to face the cameras though Ash was required to offer cues to her leading man. Hence she was required on the sets to say a few dialogues from behind the camera which in turn would help Hrithik enact his scene and dialogues in the much needed manner.
