BJP leaders, participating in the protest held at the busy Mahatma Gandhi road junction, demanded  from the Karnataka Governor Rameshwar Thakur immediately to administer oath to their candidate B S Yeddyurappa as Chief Minister, or face the consequenes.

BJP leader Sushma Swaraj made it clear that if the Governor refused to admit their claim to form the new Government, her party would parade the 129 MLAs supporting the BJP-JD-S combine before the President.

Meanwhile, AICC General Secretary Prithviraj Chavan, denied the allegation that the Congress had any plan to form a government, he, however repeated their demand of dissolving the state assembly,

"We unequivocally demand that the Centre end the uncertainty, horse-trading and balackmailing in Karnataka", Chavan said.
