Indian American Delegation want India to honor the Indo-US Civilian N.Deal MIL/IR/Agencies, Oct 22, 2007. IR Summary New Delhi: October 22, 200 – (IR Summary) - A seven-member delegation of Indian Americans, led by Sanjay Puri, the founder and chairman of the US India Political Action Committee, the Washington-based Indian-American policy advocacy group, is incidentally in India. The delegation wants to meet the leaders of the Left parties as to why they opposed the Indo-US Civilian Nuclear Deal and during their meeting; they are likely to convince them that the deal is in favor of India and should be saved at all costs. Over and above, India’s prestige has also come to stake due to backtrack of the deal and the delegation wants to protect the honor of the country which has fallen due to the negative policy of the Left Party. The delegation shall start their meeting from today and are very confident that they would be able to convince the leaders of the Left Parties, CPI and CPI (M) to withdraw their stand. The delegation has also on their agenda to meet the leaders of the BJP to smoothen their stand. In the end, they would meet the leaders of the ruling UPA coalition and members of the Manmohan Singh Cabinet and also Sonia Gandhi. The Indians in America feel that the deal is in the interest of the country and should no circumstances be dropped. National Integration Assembly Chairman Dr. Raj Baldev, who is also Cosmo Theorist of India, has lauded the efforts of the Indian-Americans team and hope that they have the ability to persuade the dissidents. If they succeed, they would really serve the nation. National Integration Assembly (NIA) is a world peace mission body and has conferred top honors to various head of States for world peace and international understanding and is trying to upgrade the award parallel to that of the Noble Prize.
