Left Party let down India’s prestige in Indo-US Deal ?

MIL/IR/Zee News, Oct 9, 2007

New Delhi: October 9, 2007 - IAEA chief Mohammed ElBaradei was definitely reluctant to say something clearly on Indo-US Civil Nuclear Deal keeping in view the delicate position of the Indian Govt.

 However, ElBaradei halfheartedly said:

"I have always had fruitful discussions with the Indian government and it will be so in the future as well." These were not the words from his mind or spirit, but ambassadorial remarks.

Whatever were the diplomatic comments by IAEA chief Mohammed ElBaradei, every shrewd politician in the world feels that the Left Party has let down the entire country on the Indo-US Civil Nuclear Deal. In fact, the whole nation cannot show up to the Americans.

India is a country of Lord Rama, who went on fourteen years exile simply on the promise that his father Dasharat had given to his wife Qaqai.

There is no doubt that the Left Party has played an anti-national role in this regard by humiliating the whole country and the most uncalled for situation is added by the BJP, who just for the opposition sake joined the Left Party in their anti-national operation.

It is just the position like that of Deve Gowda, who promised to transfer power after an agreed period to the BJP but broke his promise and as a result Deve Gowda lost a great estimation in the eyes of the nation, believe or not, just because he backed out from the promise.

The BJP joined the Left Party against the Congress party and drowned the nation in the sea of shame. The purpose of the visit of IAEA chief Mohammed ElBaradei’s had included in his official Agenda even to assess the situation of Indian politics how far they are serious about their word whether they would honor it or not.

ElBaradei earlier met India’s Atomic Energy chief Anil Kakodkar. Both sides exchanged notes on the subject ahead of the UPA-Left talks. But ElBaradei seemed to be unhappy over the govt. situation in the country.

What a disgrace when a condition has been imposed on India to beg for negotiation with a formal request if it so desires! (IR Summary).

News:

IAEA chief Mohammad El Baradei actually on Tuesday expressed confidence on firming up nuclear safeguards agreement with India whenever government here decides to talk.

As Left parties monitor his visit, IAEA chief Mohammed ElBaradei was non-committal on whether the safeguards agreement will figure in his talks with government during his stay here, saying that negotiations would take place whenever India approaches us.

"IAEA is ready for talks whenever the India approaches me for the talks,"

Elbaradei, on a three-day visit to India, said after inaugurating the indigenously developed advanced computerised telecobalt machine ‘Bhabhatron-II` for treatment of cancer here.
