Trivandrum : June 16, 2007 (Saturday) –  If we compare Mr. Bhairon Singh Shekhawat and Mrs. Pratibha Patil in the coming Presidential elections, who stands more marks astrologically?

I requested Swamy (Dr,) Raj Baldev, Noted Cosmo Theorist from India and who is well versed with Astronomy and Astrology, to give a brief comparison of the horoscopes of Mr. Shivraj Patil and Mr. Bhairon Singh Shekhawat and that he was kind enough to give the comparison of both last week in case they were brought to face each other what could possible happen.

Since Shiv Raj Patil is now out of the race of Presidential candidate, what chances Mr. Bhairon Singh stands against  Mrs.Pratibha Patil astrologically.

I talked to Dr. Raj Baldev on phone, he said, “ Pratibha Patil’s stars are typical. The position of the Head of State in this year is to be governed by Occult No.9 for India.

The following factors are required to work out the comparison apart from other available factors:

There are two gurus of all planets in the Solar System and they are Venus and Jupiter.  Venus is stronger than the Jupiter, the former is stronger in negative tactics and latter is stronger in positive strategy. When the comparison is analyzed between a male and a female in any position, the stars govern differently.

Pratibha Patil is female, so her better point could only be when her Venus and Moon, which are female stars are comparatively stronger than the opposite side.

The astrological position goes as under:
Sun is the strongest in power;
Moon falls next to the Sun in strength.
Venus as Guru No. 1 comes in third position, but as ‘Guru’ it holds the stronger position than the Jupiter, which is Guru No. 2 comes next to it.
Then comes Mercury followed by Mars and thereafter Saturn.

Venus and Moon are female in nature and counted as such.

Pratibha is female, as such the governing or winning factor depends on Venus, where it is placed. Venus in her case is placed in the zodiac sign of Sagittarius, the lord of which is Jupiter and Jupiter is placed in the Zodiac house of Libra, the lord of which is Venus, They fortunately for her are in friendly exchange.

When the planets are in exchange they always help each other, hence both gurus are in the best position. Over and above, Sun, which is benefic Chief, and the master of the Solar System, is also luckily placed in its Guru’s own Zodiac Sing, i.e. Sagittarius; hence her position is comparatively strong and safe. 

But at the same time, the support of Mercury is required to her to be the Head of State since it is governing the main Vimsopttari period. Over and above, Venus sheds its 7th aspect on Gemini, the lord of which is Mercury. So it is important also for Mercury to be strong. As regards Mercury in her case, it is placed alone and when Mercury is unaccompanied in one Zodiac Sign, it is pious and superb in strength. 

The only drawback could have been that of the Mars, and it is fortunately placed in the House of Virgo, and Mercury is occupying the Zodiac sign of Scorpio, the lord of which is Mars himself, meaning thereby that both the planets are placed in friendly exchange in the horoscope of Pratibha Patil.

Over and above, her Moon is exalted, which is another factor of her gaining more points to her luck being a lady since Moon is also female and generally comes to the rescue of ladies more than men.

Additionally, Saturn is Multrikonist in her case, another good point added to her feather.

Now coming to Mr. Bhairon Singh Shekawat, his Jupiter is in Scorpio, the seat of high position and it is governing its own Vimsottari Dasa . His Mars and Mercury are placed in Virgo, the same place where Pratibha’s Mars is placed.

His added advantage is that he has a yog of Venus, Saturn and Sun.  Venus is in its own house, Saturn is exalted but the Sun is debilitated, the only weak point for him, otherwise his stars are better placed than Prabibha’s in all respects, including his Moon which is placed in Pisces, the house of Jupiter.

Now the only main factor which can make difference is the positions of Rahu and Ketu, which are destiny planets, they can make or mar one’s luck at the eleventh hour basing on the mark of their previous birth and family’s good doings.

Pratibha Patil’s Rahu and Ketu are placed in 2nd and 8th House, whereas Shekhawat Ji’s Rahu and Ketu are placed in the Kendra, which is a plus point for him, they are better placed, even though Rahu is in enemy house of Sun in its Leo sign in the horoscope of Mr. Shekhawat.

Since Rahu Ketu are in the Kendra in the horoscope of Mr. Shekhawat, they may create some upheaval in his favour at the eleventh hour. If Mr. Shekawat takes care of these destiny planets, they can definitely disturb the balance and  may slightly turn the wave in his favor.

Dr. Raj Baldev finally said, “Astrological calculations are different from that of the Destiny. It is the destiny that finally gives a winning point and this part is played by both Rahu and Ketu, which are shadowy planets and they decide the luck at the last moment. It is said in the Sarjatak System: Rahu and Ketu are the messengers of God and are meant to deliver the final verdict of the Almighty to every contestant.”
