Queen Elizabeth was admitted to hospital for the ailment of stomach bug as a precautionary measure, she had the symptoms of gastroenteritis, not very serious, curable.
Important and special doctors at the King Edward VII Hospital in Central London, are examining the condition of the 86 year queen, and after their final assessment, they shall start her treatment.
According to her spokesman, the monarch is in “good spirits” and is otherwise in “good health.
She was admitted to a hospital at around 3 pm and she is expected to stay at the medical facility for a couple of days.
The spokesman said that it was just a precautionary measure and she was not taken into hospital immediately after feeling the symptom.
He said that this was simply done to enable doctors to better assess her and chalk out the future course of treatment and precautions.
However, all official engagements planned for this week are postponed or cancelled as per Buckingham Palace.
The sickness of Queen Elizabeth had first been announced on Friday and thereafter it was decided to get her admitted to a hospital for proper examination, treatment and rest.
