Punjab CM should use his good offices to pacify Sucha Sauda Dera Affairs - NIA

May 20, 2007 - Dr. Raj Baldev, Chairman of National Integration Assembly (NIA) , famous Cosmo Theorist from India and also noted Social Reformer, said in New Delhi in the Executive Committee Meeting today that though Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal has directed the Patiala Zonal IG to conduct an inquiry into the violence, it is a not enough.
Dr. Raj Baldev added, “The situation is worsening. The Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal should use his good offices to pacify the situation in Punjab. Such clashes are against the right spirit of Sikhism, they are the backbone of Indian democratic force and should not be allowed to be weakened at any cost.
“Sacha Sauda Dera chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Chief has already expressed his sorrow which amounts to an apology and as such the angry group against this sect should help restore normalcy in the State, Dr. Raj Baldev said.
At the same time Dr. Raj Baldev has expressed sincere hope that the senior Sikh leaders of Punjab would also extend their cooperation to control the situation in the larger interest of this great community, in particular and country in general.
