November 30, 2012 – News n Analysis by Dr. Raj Baldev, Cosmo Theorist, what is the newly discovered black hole equivalent to the size of 17 billion times of our Sun?What exactly it is?
Astronomers are reported to have dotted a massive black hole, the second-biggest ever discovered one, its 17 billion times larger than the size of our Sun, practically it has puzzled the scienstists.
This has surprised the scientists and astronomers just because it is sitting within a very tiny galaxy.
The galaxy NGC 1277 is considered to be just a quarter of the size of our own Milky Way, but it has a Black Hole of the size of 4,000 times, larger than the one at the center of our galaxy.
This discovery has made the earlier theory of scientists’ doubtful since as per scientists belief it has gone wrong. As per early theory it was ruled that the Black Hole grows only with the galaxy.
To know the exact nature and function of the Black Hole, it is not a routine affair for the scientists and astronomers properly to follow. A Black hole is so powerful that it sucks everything within its event horizon, even the light cannot escape, it means the Black Hole even sucks the light, so much its holds the power of the gravitation.
Instead, astronomers measure the black holes’ “sphere of influence” – the gravitational pull they have on surrounding gas and stars.
The fact remains that the scientists don’t have proper answer for the Black Hole.
One of the persons who made the discovery, Remco van den Bosch said: “This galaxy seems to be very old, so somehow this black hole grew very quickly a long time ago.”
“Since then the galaxy has been sitting there not forming any new stars or anything else.”
“We’re trying to figure out how this happens, and we don’t have an answer, the Astronomers have discovered what may be the most massive Black Hole ever known in a small galaxy about 250 million light-years from Earth, scientists say.
This Super Massive Black Hole has a mass equivalent to 17 billion larger than our sun and is located inside the galaxy NGC 1277 in the constellation Perseus. It makes up about 14 percent of its host galaxy’s mass, compared with the 0.1 percent a normal Black Hole would represent.”
“This is a really oddball galaxy,” said study team member Karl Gebhardt of the University of Texas at Austin in a statement. “It’s almost all Black Hole. This could be the first object in a new class of galaxy-black hole systems.”
The giant black hole is about 11 times as wide as the orbit of Neptune around our sun, researchers said. The mass is so far above normal that the scientists took a year to double-check and submit their research paper for publication, according to the study’s lead author, Remco van den Bosch.
“The first time I calculated it, I thought I must have done something wrong. We tried it again with the same instrument, then a different instrument,” van den Bosch, an astronomer at Germany’s Max Planck Institute for Astronomy, told SPACE.com. “Then I thought, ‘Maybe something else is happening.”
In my analytic view, the subject of Black Hole is still a mystery for the scientists.
I had given my theory on Black Hole in 2003 titled “Two Big Bangs Created the Universe”,(Formed in Eternal Space) stating that the creation of the Universe and orders like Solar System are created by Supernova.
In this connection after about 9 months the release of my book, Stephen Hawking, the noted physicist, said in Dublin in July 2004 that he was wrong for 30 years. If I am correct in thinking , Almighty God had given me the humble privilege of unfolding that theory, perhaps for the first time how the Black Hole works.
