After the success of ‘Jab Tak Hai jaan’, superstar Shahrukh Khan’s next project is going to be “Chennai Express”. The movie is directed by Rohit Shetty and beautiful actress Deepika Padukone will plays the female lead in the movie. The shooting of the movie will be happen in Goa. Interestingly, Filmmaker Rohit Shetty’s other films also shot in Goa like; Golmaal series, Singham, All the Best and Bol Bachchan.
In this movie actress Deepika Padukone will be seeing in a different and a new look. She will resemble in a typical South Indian girl look from the village. Recently one scene from the film was released on the net. The scene shows that, SRK standing near the door of the train while Deepika is in the platform moving towards him. This scene is recalled the famous Bollywood movie ‘Dilwale Dhulaniya Le Jayenge’ climax scene when Kajol is seen running in the platform to board the train with SRK trying to lend her a hand.This scene thus looks like an attempt to recreate the magic of the SRK-Kajol Jodi.
A unit member from the sets said that, “There is a resemblance, yes. But it’s not an attempt to recreate the scene. This happens to be an important part of the sequence of events.” The train sequence is being shot in Goa on the Vasco Railway Station. One of the platforms has been cordoned off for the shoot of this film. SRK has been busy shooting there since Saturday. A train has also been hired only for the shoot. The platform has been made to look like the Kalyan station of Mumbai.
