The import of explosive scrap across many states of the country has confirmed that India has a poor security, any body can take it a ride against this country.
It is a clear cut conspiracy but Indian authorities feel that India is a favorite dumping ground for war debris, and nothing else. The consignments are dual and not single. Their real attention is diverted?
The consignments of scraps or metal waste were different and consignments of live ammunition were different. The live and unused shells like heavy machine gun and bullets, the remnants of war, mortar bombs and projectiles were found in the metal. Heavy machine gun rounds and bullets were the most common finds in the consignments.
The scraps were gathered from Iraq and Somalia routed through Iran and ports like Dubai, the journey to India takes about 40 days.
This is a serious conspiracy hatched against India to test how India is weak in security.
We shall take first example, where it was believed that 43 explosives were in the scrap. Santosh Khushwaha, 22, a casual labor, was injured as a result of the explosion of the live and unused shells, like heavy machine gun and bullets, which were there in the consignment. A co-worker Lal Chand, 55, also got injured.
While working on the bulk-processing machine, a deafening blast had ripped through the steel scrap factory at Ghaziabad on Sep. 30. There were 10 more workers who also became the victim of this live ammunition who were killed at Bhushan Steel and Strips Ltd factory. Like that many more innocent people were killed and injured at different places in different States even where no bulk processing in the factory was an excuse.
It was discovered that the entire country was covered and almost all states received the scrap consignments and live ammunition was found all over. This has exposed the country’s security. From this import of scraps, there remains no doubt that India’s enemy can take India as a ride any moment.
So much so, the live ammunition included consignments with live 130 mm and 155-mm medium artillery shells, burnt out rocket with residual explosive. One figure at one place showed that there were 81 mm and 120-mm mortars, hand grenades and projectiles in a single consignment. Though most of the grenades did not have pins or delivery system, they could easily be exploded during their movements and even by throbbing.
About 3 million metric tones of metal scrap have been imported blindly, but it reached all states of the country more or less simultaneously? The cost of the scrap was about 5,500 crore, which is purchased every year and there is little or no check at the 12 major ports, some have formally one or two old rotten machines, otherwise they are handled manually.
The question is that the different consignments if mixed with live ammunition, grenades and projectiles, most of them must have exploded en-route. But no such incident reported.
Why did it happen? The consignments took over 40 days, loaded and reloaded at different places. Why not a single incident of explosion was reported on the way? It is because the consignments of live ammunition were mixed in the metal scraps later on through a big conspiracy to show that India is so poor in security, anybody can do anything here.
There is another reason why it has happened. Broadly speaking, the politicians in India normally do not believe in patriotism, they have very little desire at heart to do for the nation, for the people and for their security. They are normally after their own status, political positions and desperately trying to build their bank balances abroad and this is the picture of Indian politician in the eyes of an Indian.
What Manmohan Singh Govt. is to say, how both the consignments could be mixed? They were mixed later on. But who did it? They just wanted to show that 1992 incidents in Mumbai are forgotten and this may be new series to wake them up?
