Mumbai, April 20, 2007 -  India's Satyam Computer Services Ltd is reported to have posted a 39.8 pct jump in full-year net profit on strong sales growth.

India's fourth-largest software services company reported a full-year net profit of 298 mln usd, while full-year sales grew 33.3 pct to 1.46 bln usd. The earnings per ADS was 0.91 usd, up 37.4 pct as per Thomson Financial.

Chairman B Ramalinga Raju, said: 'The strong performance is a culmination of strategic initiatives taken by the company on several fronts notably in the areas of relationship management, deepening of competencies and associate delight.
