New Delhi, October 26, 2012 – News n Analysis by Dr. Raj Baldev, Cosmo Theorist, on the issue whether Mr. Vadra had also purchased land in Bikaner and how it fluctuated?
It is correct that Mr. Vadra has purchased land in various places in different states where it suited him. It was not only Harnaya but also in Bikaner and other places where Mr. Robert Vadra, son-in-law of Ms. Sonia Gandhi had purchased land for his companies, and those places include Bikaner and many other places during the period of 2008-2011 as per the media revelation.
The land involved was believed to be of nearing 20 plots measuring of 770 hectares, which he bought in Bikaner, just in a few months, after the Ashok Gehlot Govt. assumed power in the state.
According to property agents in Bikaner, the land was barren and worth precious little at the time Vadra purchased it. However, its price shot into higher and higher to the extent of 40 times in three years.
The majority of dealers over there agree that the escalation in the price is because of the industrial projects sanctioned for the region whether it was manipulated or due to some other reason, or simply that Mr. Vadra is a business man who wants to make money through land deals.
As per the assessment of documents by CNN-IBN, they show that between 2009 and 2011, Vadra’s companies – Sky Light Hospitality Pvt Ltd, Sky Light Realty Pvt Ltd, Real Earth Estates Pvt Ltd, North India IT Park Pvt Ltd and Blue Breeze Trading Pvt Ltd – purchased 770 hectares at an average price of Rs 40,000 to 50,000 per bigha. One bigha now costs between Rs 8 to 9 lakh in the area, with one hectare equaling just under four bighas.
Some Media sources allege there was clear cut conspiracy, saying the Rajasthan government delayed identification of specific areas for the projects to provide unfair advantage to property buyers.
It is also said that one was Mahesh Nagar, brother of Haryana Congress leader Lalit Nagar, is reported to be a common link between Vadra’s land deals in Haryana and Rajasthan who did almost all deal works for him.
The land purchasing by Mr. Vadra shows that he loves to buy land on some speculation basis and that increases his wealth.
