Australia's Shane Warne is now the highest wicket taker in Test cricket with 533 scalps, edging past Muttiah Muralitharan, as he dismissed Irfan Pathan in the second Test against India in Chennai on Friday.

Warne took 114  test matches to claim his 533rd wicket.
