John Abraham happy to sign 'Exclusion'
MIL/Agencies, Apr 29, 2006.
Mumbai, Apr. 29 - John Abraham was worried about his film 'Water' where had a special role, and was waiting for the final approval of the certificate by the Censor. After all, his film 'Water' succeeded in getting the U/A Certificate.
John is very happy on the clearance of 'Water' , since he had also signed the next film 'Exclusion' of the same producer. As per John's view:
"It was a challenge for me to defy my macho image and play a bhola-bhala, bespectacled, dhoti-clad guy in 'Water'. He is enamoured by this widow, played by Lisa Ray.
"It took me over a week to be used to wearing dhoti. I had even to change my walking style. I had to learn how to play a few notes on the bansuri (flute).
" I was so much impressed by producer David Hamilton that I agreed to sign his next film 'Exclusion'. Hamilton confirmed that John signed his next film, he said:
"In our next film, John will be playing an unconventional role of a sailor. The film, set in 1914, is the gripping saga of Asian immigrants who traveled aboard the ship Komagata Maru towards Vancouve. John is confident to be more comfortable with the next film 'Exclusion'. Hamilton is also satisfied to get John in his next film again, he says that he is greatly impressed by John's dedication in his work and that's what makes him great and popular among the audience.
