Sri Lanka requests Switzerland to continue peace talks

Colombo, Sri Lanka, Apr. 29 - Sri Lanka government has released their decision on Saturday that it was prepared to travel to Switzerland any time to resume peace talks with Tamil Tiger rebels.
Sri Lankan govt., in fact, has been carrying strong apprehension in their mind that the circumstances might not led to civil war, so keeping the overall situation in their country in view, they sent their willingness to continue the peace talks.
Norwegian peace brokers confirmed in Oslo on Friday.
Sri Lankan Government Minister and Spokesman, Keheliya Rambukwella said:
"We are flexible on the dates. What we want is to resume the peace talks as soon as possible,"
The Government and the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam were scheduled to meet in Geneva on April 24-25, but the talks were withheld due to a fresh dispute arisen between the two. Now the Govt. has revised its decision to resume the peace talks.
The Srilankan Govt. blamed the rebels that they had launched series of attacks including a suicide bombing that targeted Sri Lanka's top Military General.
The Air Force of Sri Lanka launched aerial strikes and killed 12 people and displaced more than 50,000 thousand people, who had to flee to safer places.
