Storm in Indian Cricket team on inclusion of Sewag?
MIL/Agencies, Apr 19, 2006.
In the 2nd ODI to be played with Pakistan today in Abu Dhabi, India is facing a grave situation. Stormy exchanges are on among the top deciders of the Indian Cricket team.
Rahul Dravid wants Virendra Sewag to play today while others have opposed him. The argument is not yet over. The issue shall be decided exactly before the match starts.
Some objections came on V Rao, who made 61, others under fire were R.Uttappa, who made 12, Powar who made 5 and one more. There was a heat exchange, and one section wanted that Sewag should replace R. Uttappa.
Let us see , who wins and who loses. Uttappa has done well, so V Rao. Powar deserves to be in time. Rest is up to the selectors and Sewag's luck. However, it is not advisable to change any player at this stage.
