Rockstars overseas concert postponed due to Salman
MIL/Agencies, Apr 17, 2006.
New Delhi Apr. 17 - The Rockstars overseas stage concert, in which film star Salman Khan was to perform his role along with Akshay Kumar and John Abraham, has been postponed to next month due to the then unavailability of Salman among other reasons.
The trade sources said even though he is out on bail after spending three nights in jail, Salman Khan was unable to get permission in time from the court to travel abroad. As a result Rockstars overseas stage concert was postponed to May instead of 21 April.
The strange part of the show was that all the tickets were sold out before the postponement was announced. Since the court has already allowed Salman to proceed abroad and to stay there upto June 21, the show shall now certainly be organized in May.
Salman Khan was to accompany a galaxy of stars including Akshay Kumar, John Abraham, Kareena Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor, Esha Deol, Preity Zinta, Fardeen Khan, Zayed Khan and Mallika Sherawat to North America at the end of this month for a world tour. However the organizers are hopeful to get fresh dates from other stars for May and June since the court has already granted permission to Salman Khan to participate in the show.
