Jodhpur, Apr. 13 -While accepting Salman's lawyers 44 page application challenging the lower court's order of 5 years sentence in the Chinkara poaching case, the sessions court in Jodhpur granted bail to Bollywood actor Salman Khan and he shall be released from the jail by Thursday AN.

The lower court had sentenced Salman to five years rigorous imprisonment for killing an endangered Chinkara in addition to imposing a fine of Rs 25,000.  

Earlier in the morning, the court also heard Salman's appeal in a second Chinkara poaching case where the lower court had found him guilty of killing two Chinkaras and sentenced him to one year rigorous imprisonment.
