India level Hockey Series against Pak with a 4-1 win

Quetta (Pakistan): India beat Pakistan 4-1 in the second hockey Test to level the four-match series by 1-1 today. Earlier Pakistan had led the series bu 1-0 after wining the opening encounter in Karachi on Friday.
Indians had not beaten Pakistan in a competitive hockey match since the final of the Afro-Asian Games in Hyderabad last year. India seemed under a lot of pressure when the match started, but they got into a rhythm as the match progressed. India got into a strong position with 2 goals scored from Penalty Corner by Sandeep Singh in the first half. Later, Ignace Tirkey scored a goal again to put India ahead by 3-0.
Pakistan played hard for a comeback and earned couple of penalty corner, but they failed to convert them into goals.
Indian team suffered a jolt when midfielder Viren Rasquinha was temporarily suspended for an infringement in the 55th minute. But Pakistan failed to take advantage of the 10-men Indian Squad.
Forward Khandekar scored the last indian goal in the 60th minute.
