Deadly quake rocked W. Iran-killing about 30 and injuring 500

A strong earthquake has rocked Western Iran in early morning of Friday killing about 30 and injuring more than 500 people. The IRNA says that the casualties and injuries are also the result of aftershock.
The quake's magnitude was measured at 5.0 and was centered near Boroujerd and Doroud, two cities in western Iran.
The quake was followed hours later by two weaker aftershocks and a strong tremor with a magnitude of 6.0, is reported. The authorities have Sent teams to all affected regions, since the earthquake has engulfed many villages in its lap.
According to the report about 17 bodies have so far been pulled out of destroyed houses in Silakhor, a region north of Doroud as per state-run radio.
