141. Russian Cargo Ship delivered 440 pounds of food for crewmen

The two International Space Station crewmembers were forced to cut back rations by 5 to 10 percent last week. They were waiting for the Russian cargo ship to augment the food supply. Due to shortage of food and instructions from the Earth, they reduced their quota of meat and vegetables and ate more sweets and snacks according to U.S. astronaut Leroy Chiao.

Scientists at NASA's jet propulsion lab were awaiting to see if a probe could make its meeting with Saturn's largest moon. They have now received a signal confirming that the barbe cue-sized robot craft had separated from its mother ship, the American-built spaceship Cassini.

145. Real Probing of Titan’s atmosphere shall be a landmark

The probe named Huygens is scheduled to hit Titan’s atmosphere before or on 14 Jan. to determine whether the Moon’s surface has lakes or seas of liquid methane and ethane or not. It is fully equipped with instruments that can easily sample the chemistry of Titan’s thick hydrocarbon placed atmosphere.

An unmanned Progress cargo shall carry all the supplies to International Space Station in future. Recently food ran short and the supply was needed urgently. The Progress cargo ship was lifted off from Kazakhstan over night with the supplies.

Alexandria - Federal Judge in Alexandria on Wednesday dismissed a key claim in the trademark infringement suit filed against Google by Geico, the Auto Insurer owned by Berkshire Hathaway. In the trial, which started on Monday, Geico gave a plea that the Google’s policy of allowing competitors to buy ads linked to searchers for Geico and Geico Direct confuses the Web surfers who look for Geico.
