Kathmandu – King Gyanendra of Nepal dissolved the government because he felt it failed to hold elections by April as promised and hence failed to defend the democracy. His logic is that the sovereignty of the people and life and property are more important which the government has failed to take care of.

Jerusalem – A Palestinian Militant group in Ghaza wants peace, they are ready to suspend attacks on Israeli people so far the talks go on between the new Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and Mr. Sharon. They have expressed their desire for a long-term cease-fire. “However, their initial period of peace shall at least be for a month,” they said.

New Delhi - The large mass extinction of Grand Dying, which occurred on the Earth about 250 million years ago, was most probably caused not by asteroid or comet but by global warming.
